BETWEEN THE SHADOW AND THE LIGHT
It was a fairy-tale, which had appeared inside the imagination of painter Elena Kuznetsova. Fairy-tale, in which the enigmatic pictures by Pavel Filonov returned to life in the area of timeless wrestling of Light with Darkness. The idea has got its life. Creative cooperation with choreographer of "Enchanters" Lyudmila Klonova has led to embodiment of the fairy-tale in stage performance, in which Filonov's pictures and music sounding by Strauss, Mozart, Borodin were intertwined.
The philosophical depth of the subject was unobtrusively noticable through translucent fairy-tale texture. In the central character of Mirror an attentive look will lightly catch sight of Truth Source symbol. The Dark Forces attempted to slur over the Mirror by dirt and break it... Actually, aspiring to go away, to hide from Truth rays in sly shade - one of deep properties of the World of Darkness - is depicted here extremely successfully. But Darkness, notwithstanding on spectacular demonstrating of their demonic forces, found oneself weak in face of Harmony... The Harmony displays oneself imperceptibly, as a puff of light breeze, but its strategic victory is inevitable...
Between the Shadow and the Light... Theatricals is done on contrasts - and was followed with sharp polarization of opinions in audience.
Nobody was kept indifferent...

"I danced, as far as I remember myself" Her childhood got through on legendary Baikonur, where a free spirit of shoreless steppes was neighbouring with everyday miracle of launching cosmic ships. Wild nature and aspiration high into air... She carried this over her creations... Lyudmila Klonova graduated the department of choreography of East-Siberian Institute of Culture institution in 1977. In 1978-82 yy. she managed choreographic troup on Baikonur. In 1982-87 yy. she taught in ballet studio. In 1987 y. she moved to academy town of Pushchino in Moscow Region, where had organized an "Impulse" ensemble . In 1994 y. she had created "Enchanters" ensemble, annually astonishing its numerous admirers by bright and each time unexpected concerts, in which contemporary and classic choreography interlaces with theater elements. |
